How to set up KemoTV on Amazon Firestick & Fire TV

The Firestick is the most popular way to watch KemoTV across Canada. You'll install a player with the free Downloader app using a short numeric code, then sign in once.

  1. 01

    Allow apps from unknown sources

    Players aren't in the Amazon store, so you'll install one with the free Downloader app. First, give Downloader permission.

    • Settings → My Fire TV (or Device Preferences) → Developer options
    • Turn on Install unknown apps → Downloader (or Apps from Unknown Sources)
    • Don't see Developer options? Go to About and click the device name 7 times

    Install Downloader

    Search for "Downloader" by AFTVnews in the app store and install it.

    • Use the search icon on the home screen
    • Pick the orange Downloader icon → Get / Install

    Enter the Downloader code for your player

    Open Downloader, select the address box, type the numeric code for the player you want and press Go. When the file finishes, choose Install.

    • IPTV Smarters Pro: code 6468112
    • TiviMate: code 272483
    • ELK Player: code 82854

    Not sure which to pick? TiviMate has the best TV-guide grid; IPTV Smarters Pro is the simplest for first-timers. After installing, delete the downloaded file to free up space.

    Sign in with your KemoTV line

    Open the player and choose the Xtream Codes (or "Login with Xtream Codes API") option, then enter the details we sent you.

    • Name / playlist name: KemoTV
    • Username and password: exactly as sent, case-sensitive
    • Server URL: include the http:// prefix and port if one is shown
    • Save — channels, the TV guide and the movie library load on their own

    Your KemoTV login (username, password and server URL) arrives on WhatsApp right after activation. Type it exactly — it's case-sensitive — and keep it private: your plan allows a fixed number of screens at once.

Troubleshooting

Downloader says the install is blocked

Go back to Developer options and make sure Install unknown apps is switched on for Downloader specifically, then try the code again.

The picture stutters on busy nights

Restart the Firestick, then in your player set the video decoder to Hardware. A wired Ethernet adapter or 5 GHz Wi-Fi fixes most 4K buffering.

The code downloads the wrong app

Codes occasionally change. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll send the current code for your player.
